These are true Japanese 440c Steel , convex edge, hollow ground shears that are extremely sharp and fast, A convex edge is the sharpest edge you can get on a pair of scissors (also called Japanese shears because of their country of origin) and are designed and formed with a shallow arc to the back side of the blades.,they excel at slide cutting, point cutting and texturing. . they are great for Full body Sculpting such as Bichons and Poodles, They also work very well on thick coats and are great for scissoring down cockers.

Our shears come with the same 7 day return policy as Utsumi, and must be sent directly to us for any returns or exchanges and sharpening,
